Gillian Anderson has hinted that there could be a third X-Files movie in the future.

Speaking at an interview in the Sarajevo film festival, the actor told a British newspaper “There isn’t any reason not to do it, it was fun, it was hard work - I feel a certain commitment to that group of people that I worked with and we still enjoy doing it, when we do it, there is no reason why not to come together and do it again.”

She went on to say that the 3rd installment could be in cinemas as soon as 2012.
