A cook who was taken from the kitchen to the stage on Michelle Rodgriguez’s production debut “Tropico De Sangre” was shot on set during a props mix up.

Don’t worry though - apparently he’s going to be just fine.

“There are a lot of liabilities that come with the production… You’re working in a country where they don’t really have a film industry” she told reporters, “so safety precautions like, ‘Don’t put real bullets into a pistol before you load and shoot a scene,’ doesn’t mean ’shoot (the) guy with a real bullet.’ ”

The actress and producer was quick to pass the buck blaming the lack of safety regulations in the Dominican Republic.
