Disney are in talks with online video giant Youtube to distribute short form content via the Google owned video site.

Talks to place full length episodes of Disney shows on Youtube “have gone as high as Disney CEO Bob Iger and Google chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt” - according to a news source.

All Disney videos on Youtube would link back to their own website and the company would control the ad inventory for their videos. Perhaps TV and movie companies will finally realize a source of income for providing free content online at sites like Youtube - a move many have been reluctant to do so far.
