Six wannabe contestants were injured and two arrests were made when an open casting call for the show in NYC on Saturday let to a stampeed and mass hysteria.

It’s unclear what caused the trouble, but it’s believed tensions were frayed after the crowd of around 10,000 hopefuls was spooked by a burning car.

Two people were arrested for incitement to riot.
