A few years after the invention of a synthetic blood (TruBlood), vampires make themselves known to humankind and begin integrating into society. We're introduced to Sookie, a waitress who lives in Bon Temps, Louisiana where she meets a vampire called Bill Compton.

Bill uses his vampire blood to heal Sookie after she is beaten. Soon after a meetup at Sookies place, they ahre their first kiss.

|
Bill claims Sookie as his own to save other vampires from feeding on her.

Escape from Dragon House
|
|
Sookies neighbour accuses Jason of killing Dawn and Bill is pulled over by the police simply for being a vampire.

Sparks Fly Out
|
|
Bill and Sookie argue over an encounter with the police which ends will Bill leaving. Meanwhile somone kills her gran.

Cold Ground
|
|
Sam and Bill are being terriotorial and protective of Sookie as she is grieving for her dead grandmother.
